Battlefield Viewer — The Operational Picture

The Battlefield Viewer brings the operation onto the BattleCorp web platform. Terrain mapping and surveyed world features provide the geographical context; telemetry layers add the activity reported from the field. Operators can choose the layers they need, inspect the map and use playback controls to review recorded activity. That makes the viewer useful both for understanding the area of operations and for revisiting how an engagement developed. The picture depends on the survey, terrain and telemetry available for that scenario and session. Uplink supplies the field data, while the viewer turns it into a map that personnel can inspect away from the in-game screen.
