Uplink — Scenario Survey and Lidar Intelligence

Uplink now owns scenario survey and lidar acquisition. The station checks the platform's reconnaissance registry and runs the required collection work when a scenario signature needs new or updated intelligence. Survey captures world features and operational context, including road and path linework and zones. Lidar supplies terrain height data used to build topographic map editions for the Battlefield Viewer. Bringing these pipelines into Uplink puts reconnaissance alongside the station's existing network connection and configuration. Telemetry continues independently of reconnaissance, so collecting map intelligence does not become a prerequisite for reporting the operation. Station command controls the collection mode and associated settings through Uplink. The resulting map coverage reflects the data successfully collected and processed for that scenario.
