Uplink gives station command configurable rules for abandoned player-driven vehicles.
Abandoned vehicles can accumulate as an operation moves across the map. Uplink links player-driven vehicles to their operators and applies the station's chosen cleanup policy after they are left behind.
Command can retain vehicles indefinitely, tie retention to the linked driver's survival, or use an abandonment timer. Separate limits can cap abandoned vehicles associated with an operator, squad or faction.
When a configured cap is exceeded, a secondary countdown gives the cleanup process a delay before removing the oldest eligible vehicles. The station sets the retention and limit policy to suit its operation.
These controls concern abandoned-vehicle management. They give command a way to manage accumulating assets while preserving a deliberate recovery window where configured.
