Persistent Progression — Carry Your Service Record Forward

Every deployment contributes to an operator's service record. Uplink reports XP and rank changes to BattleCorp so the platform can track progression beyond a single session. On stations with persistent rank enabled, saved XP is restored when the operator returns. In-game rank follows that XP total, keeping progression tied to the game's own rank system. The platform decides how records carry between scenarios. This gives returning personnel continuity while leaving station command in control of progression policy. Rank restrictions and reward settings remain separate operational decisions. Saved equipment has its own Persistent Loadouts feature.
