Realtime Weather — Bring Local Conditions into the AO
Synchronise supported in-game weather with a real-world location and optionally align the mission clock.
Uplink can apply real-world weather sourced by the platform from either the host's location or the mission's geographical analogue. Leaving synchronisation disabled preserves scenario weather.
When enabled, the platform supplies a weather snapshot for Uplink to apply in-world. Supported conditions include the weather state and available rain, fog, wind and temperature values. A transition setting controls how the change is introduced.
Optional time synchronisation aligns the in-game clock and calendar day with the selected location. It uses a one-to-one day length while active and retains the game's 1989 year.
Weather Update broadcasts can announce changes to deployed operators. Conditions refresh through configuration polling, so the system follows successive weather snapshots rather than a continuous weather feed.
