Live Force Tracking — Friendly Positions on the Map

Uplink adds in-game player map positions with station-controlled visibility and range.

Live Force Tracking gives operators a current view of permitted friendly positions on the in-game map. Uplink's team-player markers can show an operator's own position together with the audience authorised by station policy. Command can select visibility for self, squad, faction or commander use. A proximity limit can restrict other operators to a local range, while the operator's own marker remains available regardless of that range setting. Directional markers add heading arrows in place of position-only pips, using different colours for squad and faction personnel. These controls help stations choose the level of map assistance appropriate to their operation. This is the in-game position display. Shared Intel provides a separate way to relay a deliberately marked location to other personnel.
